not many shows left.. was a fan from his nbc days when he had a lot of innovation.. no question, he has a quick mind, which to me, is a key to comedy.. a distinct memory was awakening my poor pre-teen daughter when dave was back on the air after his heart surgery.. no matter what, is a changing of the guard (if only the wt could do the same)..

Letterman lost me years ago when he became habituated to a boring formula and hawking people's books and movies pretty much every time. No fun like the Late Show. Cordon is too sincere and enthusiastic to last long. He is child like and funny in my view but most people just aren't used to that level of enthusiasm. He does the Graham Norton approach by having all guests out at one time mostly. That is new on American TV, hope it lasts. I don't stay up late any more, i watch it online if I feel like it which isn't often.

Has This Site Ever Hurt You In Your Journey Out Of The JW Religion?

this site has gone through many metamorphosis over the years.

i believe it is a kinder, less edgy place tan it was a few years ago.

i wonder how many people were helped versus turned off by this place.

Once I woke from the JW dream and could recognize its scam, my BS meter is pretty accurate, so no, this site has not hurt me in any way. Its been the opposite actually. Thank you Simon.

How do you feel about religion as a whole?

it just seems to me religion in general primarily makes truly bad people worse, not genuinly good people better; and in many cases has even made good people do bad things in the name of their religion.

just curious, a personal poll if you will.

what are you guys' current views on religion as a whole?

Got it. The movie "The New World Society in Action" was silent by the way. There was a script that the presenter would read. I read it against the 1st kingdom melodies tape for back ground music when I transferred the movie to video in those days. The new version doesn't have the narration because its just silly. The "Action(s)" of the New World Society then are so miniscule they just don't need to tout them. I wont post it because I am a fader and not interested in my voice being out there on it, Sorry.

Heritage was produced by the WT Society for television broadcast. (They also released radio dramas for public consumption as part of an effort to fill the "religious programming requirement of television stations. I have those too. I like some of them, they are tacky but the acting was fun to listen to.) Heritage wasn't an "in-house" production simply for congregations. I saw it on television originally. The print of the film I had was from a circuit library that was being dumped. It was 16 mm and a couple of reels long. I transferred it. If you watched it you know it was about the advantages of being a "Christian" JW over the "worldly" lifestyle. It was not a doctrine based film so there was no reason to change anything. There was nothing to hide. Its the same film as produced, no edits.

Flipper, clearly you haven't watched from the beginning. Since the pilot Morgan reappeared once before in the episode "Clear". He couldn't shoot his wife when she was a zombie, not because he was scared, but because he loved her. Rick left Morgan and his son back in their home town and gave him a walkie talkie. He promised to return to get him after he found his family. In the meantime Morgan's son was bitten by his zombie mother who manged to get in the house, the one who Morgan couldn't shoot. THEN he shot her in the head and his son as well. He went absolutely fruit loops. When Rick found him a season or two later while he, Carl and Michone were scavenging he was hold up in a building, collecting walkers and burning their bodies as if it were some service to humanity. Rick had lost his mind and tried to convince Morgan he could be well but Morgan said you cannot come back. Rick left him there crazy as hell. To see him now a ninja and sane is pretty out there, some say he found a ninja school somewhere on the road. He is a great character and one of the only constants that hasn't been there constantly! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Never heard of the God Cannot Lie film. I put up Heritage, was the best I could do 20 years ago, sorry. Better than nothing. I also have "The New World Society in Action" but that was made available on disc some time ago so I didn't post it on YouTube. My version was kind of sucky too. The photodrama is on Youtube also.
